Minister of finance Malusi Gigaba wants South Africans to relax and stop panicking over the country’s economic status.
Saying that a majority of South Africans are living in very poor conditions and under very difficult circumstances, while the rich get even more richer, Gigaba revealed that those South Africans who are poor are the strongest people in the world and they should hang in there.
“I KNOW THAT OUR PEOPLE ARE VERY POOR, BUT THIS IS A GOOD THING FOR US, BECAUSE THE WORLD WILL EVENTUALLY KNOW THAT WE ARE VERY STRONG PEOPLE, WE DON’T NEED WEALTH TO LIVE OUR LIVES. OUR GRANDFATHERS WERE ALSO POOR AND THEY SURVIVED, SO CAN WE.” GIGABA SAID.
Gigaba further revealed that he was also once poor, but he is now rich.
“STARTED FROM THE BOTTOM, NOW I AM HERE. POVERTY IS NOT A BAD THING AFTER ALL,ITS JUST A TRAINING METHOD ,PREPARING US FOR THE FUTURE. SO POVERTY IS ACTUALLY A GOOD THING.” GIGABA SAID.
