Grace Mugabe’s eldest son Russell Goreraza recently bought two Rolls Royce Phantoms priced at over R70 million, and one of them was stolen from the residence of his Harare girlfriend’s residence.
The vehicles caused a lot of noise on social media as Zimbabweans both at home and abroad complained at the extravagance of the First Family while 90% of the nation was living in poverty.
One of the vehicles was later hijacked by an unidentified men on Tuesday night. It has since been recovered in a Johannesburg suburb. The people who live on the property where the car was found called the JMPD claiming they woke up to see the expensive vehicle in their yard.
There are no details of how the hijackers managed to smuggle the vehicle into South Africa.
The Zimbabwe government has been trying to muzzle the story of the hijack.
