HE’S the hottest sensation since sliced bread. And South Africans are drawn to his charm and charisma. But somgaga is no longer playing the field!

These were the words of insiders, who insisted the radio and TV personality was officially off the singles’market.

And the SunTeam’s informants insisted the Metro FM Fresh Breakfast Show co-host and Idols SA judge (real name Somizi Mhlongo) proposed in style.

According to the rumour mill, he asked his partner, Mohale Motaung, to take his hand in marriage in Paris, France.

An informant said Somizi was hopelessly in love and would do anything to please his man.

Said the insider: “Somizi is not shy to express his love for his boyfriend. He’s been showering him with lavish gifts, including high-end French brands like LV and Gucci, and flying Mohale around the world in business class.

“These two are totally in love and are a very happy.”

The source said Somizi had not been in love since parting ways with his boyfriend of more than 12 years.

According to the mole, it was difficult for Somizi to date, but with Mohale made it easy.

“They just flow naturally and complement each other,” the mole said.

“They make love look good because they’re having fun in their relationship.”

Another source said Somizi had popped the big question around the Eiffel Tower landmark.

The source said their wedding ceremony would likely take place later this year.

Insisted the source: “With Somizi, you either go big or you go home.

“He’s probably going to go all out.

“You know, think along the lines of an island or a wine farm.”

A third source said Somizi and Mohale were set to marry despite SomGAGA’s lover’s family disapproving the union.

Three months ago, Sunday Sun had reported that Mohale’s family was against Somizi dating him, arguing that he was too young for SomGAGA.

Their relationship also angered Mohale’s ex-lover, advocate Dlakula Ntombela, who accused Somizi of snatching his lover.

Somizi was not available for comment and failed to respond to our SMSes at the time of going to print.

Mohale refused to comment.
